The Lightwave twirling staff is just the biggest LED twirling fun on the planet. The lightwave also unscrews in the middle to create two multi-colour lightsticks for twirling, dancing, juggling or landing a jumbo jet on your local street!! The Lightwave incorporates a specially designed 'IC' chip that allows the display of rotating colours to be stopped on the colour of your choice. The Lightwave is designed for beginners and experienced players and to get you twirling in minutes there is a very comprehensive instructional CD Rom with 40+ techniques included in the package.

Personal Note: I purchased one of these for my children and was immediately surprised by the excellent quality and good balance of the product and was equally impressed by the instructional CD Rom that came with it. It is easy to follow and it allows you to slow down or speed up the techniques shown which enables you (now you know I have been playing with it. Haha!) or your child to learn at your own speed suited to your abilities.

Although it is not suitable for all FMA long stick techniques, I like the fact that my eight year old son has not been able to put it down for weeks and it is helping him become a more proficient weapons handler in staff and double stick whilst having lots of fun and he is finally wanting to learn some solo drills that he did not have the patience for before when using ordinary rattan sticks and keeps practicing all day so when it gets dark he can switch the lights on and look like a Jedi not only in his own mind but with the skills he has learnt, to others too.

I would also recommend this as a fun gift for any adult, as I have thoroughly enjoyed playing with the staff and sticks when the kids have gone to bed. Learning fun tricks and creating some interesting light displays, ideal for Halloween, fancy dress or Christmas parties or even a club demonstration.
